Dolanan Ati : Novel Berbahasa Jawa

Dolanan Ati is a Javanese novel that tells the poignant story of Daniyah, a young girl who becomes an orphan after a fire kills her entire family. She is taken under the wing of Prasaja, a kind and wealthy young developer who sponsors her education and upbringing, placing her in a prestigious boarding school. As Daniyah grows into a beautiful and intelligent young woman, a deep, unspoken love develops between them. However, their bond is complicated by Prasaja's pre-arranged engagement to Puspitasari, a woman of equal social standing, a commitment his ill mother strongly enforces. The narrative explores the profound consequences of family duty, hidden feelings, and a terrible crime that befalls Daniyah. After Prasaja succumbs to his mother's wishes and marries, the story delves into themes of betrayal, trauma, and social shame. The resolution comes from an unexpected quarter when Prasaja's younger brother, Pramana, returns from his studies in America and offers Daniyah a sincere proposal, accepting her and her unborn child. The novel concludes with a message of healing and new beginnings, as the characters navigate love, loss, and the intricate bonds of family, ultimately finding a way to redefine their relationships and futures. -- [Bahasa Indonesia].
