Amachahou

AMACHAHOU is made of triads: brief stories told in three parts. After his wife's burial, a man leaves his door open. Neighbors come in, and then people he does not know. At a wedding, a singer changes the song he was hired to sing. Across seven movements, the stories begin at thresholds and end with what people leave behind. Each triad can be read on its own.
