The grammatical content is presented gradually through instructive tables and examples. A separate pictorial vocabulary consisting of about 1000 words from key areas of everyday life is included at the end of the Textbook.

The Exercise Book contains a detailed pronunciation guide. Handy pocket-sized vocabularies are available in 14 languages.
