New Art Scales (With The Pill)

Under Ingrid Luquet-Gad’s pen, New Arts Scales writes the art of the 21st century with the tools, ambition and quality of a timeless art history book. In this very place, Istanbul, the exact junction between East and West, between the local and the global, there is a gallery, The Pill, founded by Suela Cennet in 2016, that is as much a tool of resistance as a way to blast the dialectic between center and margins. New Art Scales tells the story of this change of scale. A reference book on the ultra-contemporary, which writes art at the very moment it is made. Artists featured Eva Nielsen, Marion Verboom, Leyla? Gediz, Ugo Schiavi, Elsa Sahal, Raphae?l Barontini, Apolonia Sokol, Soufiane Ababri, Mireille Blanc, Pablo Da?vila, Berke Dog?anog?lu, Daniel Otero Torres, Aykan Safog?lu, Elif Erkan, I?rem Gunaydin, Lux Miranda
