The Monroe Institute Files

Buried in the CIA's public archive sits one of the strangest documents the U.S. government ever released: a 1983 report on leaving your body, traveling beyond time, and reading a "universal hologram." The Monroe Institute Files traces the true story behind it—from Robert Monroe, a radio executive haunted by out-of-body experiences, to the Hemi-Sync sound technology, the Cold War psychic-spy program at Fort Meade, and the mystery of the missing page 25. Separating documented fact from viral myth, it reveals what the record actually says—and what science makes of it today.
