I am

When Christ said, 'Before Abraham was, I am,' he declared himself to be the transcendent, eternal Lord beyond all comprehension. But Jesus also taught us that he is near to us in seven more 'I am' statements: 'I am... the bread, the light, the door, the shepherd, the resurrection, the way, truth and life, and the vine. Iain Campbell's meditations help us to eat the bread, see the light, enter the door, follow the shepherd, experience the resurrection, travel the way and abide in the vine that Christ is. Take, read and discover that Christ is all that you need.' Joel R. Beeke, President , Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary, Michigan, Grand Rapids.
