A Tale of Two Crowns 2 - The Moon Blessed King

‘An ambitious and compelling tale of deadly court intrigue and star-crossed lovers’ – Lucy Holland, author of Sistersong, on The Sun Blessed Prince As the death toll rises, cities will fall . . . From Lindsey Byrd, The Moon Blessed King is a breathtaking, queer, slow-burn fantasy romance. Elician is to be crowned King of Soleb. But he’s secretly a Giver, capable of raising the dead – and it’s forbidden for Givers to rule. Despite this, he’s desperate to end Soleb’s war with Alelune, and will marry their rightful king, Cat, a Reaper who can kill with a single touch, to do so. But before Cat can challenge his tyrannical brother for Alelune’s throne, the goddess of Death unleashes a devastating plague on both nations. With Elician and Cat’s attention on Death herself, Elician’s Giver sister, Fen, is left behind to heal the sick of an uncertain nation still at war. In the face of this new responsibility, Fen must decide what she is willing to sacrifice to ensure Elician and Cat can succeed. Two countries are at stake, and it’s a race against time to appease the wrath of a god. The Moon Blessed King is the stunning second fantasy in the A Tale of Two Crowns duology, following The Sun Blessed Prince. For those who adore enemies-to-lovers and slow burn, and royals at odds. * * * Praise for the series: ‘An outstanding slow-burn, character-driven narrative’ – T. L.
