Kumulationen Ergänzungsband zur Erwin-Panofsky-Korrespondenz 1910 bis 1968

English summary: Erwin Panofsky (1892-1968) was one of the most important art historians and cultural scholars of the 20th century. His correspondence constituted the lesser-known part of his work. In a rigorous cultural studies research project Dieter Wuttke published a selection from the roughly 27,000 letters reflecting Panofsky's entire life and work. Nearly 7,000 pages published in five volumes contain more than 3,800 edited and annotated letters as well as numerous pictures and additional documents. They are made accessible by indices and comprehensive descriptive registers. This supplementary volume is intended first and foremost as a tool that will further facilitate use of the extensive five volumes of the main work. In it is collected both information that was previously spread across the preceding volumes as well as some additional new information. All in all, the Kumulationen provide an indispensable tool for anyone who wishes to study the collection in detail, make use of the wide range of information provided or quickly access individual items of information.
