Veil of the Cosmos 1 - Gondwana

Gondwana: The First Prayer One planet. A fifteen-hundred-year war. And an ancient prayer. Humanity believes it rules the world—but the Earth remembers everything. When a brilliant young scientist dies on a dark mountain road, his discovery vanishes with him, and his grieving father is left with nothing but questions. Soon after, a mysterious woman steps into the old man’s life: Tara Vance, a corporate fixer who moves through the world’s most powerful boardrooms. On the surface, she is unshakeable. In secret, she can feel what no human can: the thirst of a tethered mare, the pain hidden inside a pearl, the last breath of an ancient tree. From the boardrooms of Manaus to the burning edges of the Amazon, Tara uncovers a terrifying truth: an unseen force— steering the people who rule our world as they drain the Earth’s life. The only hope lies with an unlikely group of guardians: Davi, a boy born to a family that destroys the Earth, and Ren, a tech prodigy haunted by memories that aren’t his own. Guided by a Himalayan mystic, they begin an ancient ritual that will last eleven days. But as fire fills the sky and the mountains begin to shake, a primordial fury awakens, and the question becomes: Who is Tara? Part conspiracy, part spiritual awakening, Gondwana is an eco-fantasy about a living Earth, and the few who still hear her voice. For readers who love nature, animals, ancient wisdom, and stories that make you see the world differently.
