The Blade of Cedric 1 - Blade of Cedric

The Saraton Empire, ruled over by the four States, has lived in power since time immemorial. However, with the end of the Kodain-Crystal War, this carefully crafted peace has begun to shatter. However, when Marquis Edward's elusive daughter, the Young Lady Cestelle, disappears, Sir Norian, retainer to the Crown Prince, is personally tasked by the Marquis to search for her. In the process, he uncovers the corrupted coup of the New Elders, which threatens the destruction of both his nation and the world. With secrets coming to light, the foundation of what Norian once swore to protect has begun to crumble. Forced to grapple with both allies and enemies not being who they seem, he has to accept that his original ideals might not get him far. Ultimately, the very evil he had wished to purge from his life has sunk its roots into yet another victim... One who had already run from it all before.
