Get Kids Out-The bee in the stripy jumper

Colin continues with the 'GET THE KIDS OUT' series of books for younger readers with THE BEE IN THE STRIPY JUMPER. What is that buzzy, fluffy jumpered flying creature, bouncing off the kitchen window? What's the difference between honey bees and bumble bees and how important to us are these amazing insects to our lives? The garden holds such amazing treasures and lessons for us all. Is there ever a better time to discover and learn about the world outside? This book asks and explains why the plight of the bee is so important to us all and educates the younger reader to how bees help us and how we can help them. In THE WORM WITH A NOSE Colin sent youngsters out into the garden to make wonderful discoveries for themselves. In Reginald Growl he addressed self-esteem, bullying and road safety. Once again, there is much to learn from the world around us. Especially in our gardens, parks, allotments or even window boxes. Icky creatures, there may be. But without them where would people be? GET KIDS OUT! Out in the garden. It's an amazing world to explore.
