This classic tale of The Little Red Hen is retold in Tigrinya language. When the hen asks a cat, dog and sheep for help to plant wheat seeds that she found, she gets no takers. They won’t help to water, to cut or to take the wheat to the mill. They won’t help to bake a bread too. But all are eager to eat the bread the little red hen makes from the wheat.
