Indicators of Job Satisfaction for Employees Overview of Career Change

Career change is an issue of concern to institutions given the huge costs related to lost productivity, hiring and training of employees. It is pertinent to understand the causes of career change. In the present scenario, job satisfaction is a vital competitive advantage to maintain employees and develop good human resources. However, little is known on non teaching staff making career change. This study examined the effect of job satisfaction on career change intention of non teaching staff in Moi University Eldoret Kenya. This study was based on Herzberg's two factor theory. The research design was survey strategy. A sample size of 158 respondents was selected using stratified, systematic random sampling technique from the population. Questionnaires were the main data collection instruments. Descriptive and inferential statistics were applied.
