The Standard Median 1 - The Anchor

In the floating city of Aethelgard, survival isn't governed by machines, but by the Law of Harmonic Resonance. The city's failing energy grid is stabilized only through a neural link known as the Sync-Core, a crystalline conduit that melds two operative minds into a single, energy-modulating force. When a Primary Node and a Secondary Node are bonded, their internal trust becomes the city's literal lifeline. Any flicker of doubt or unresolved friction manifests as a Lumen-Drop—a physical plunge into darkness and structural decay. As external atmospheric storms and internal cognitive rifts threaten to fracture their connection, the pair must navigate The Fade to prevent a total blackout. In a world where mental dissonance leads to total collapse, they must achieve an unbreakable frequency or watch their civilization fall into the void.
