Alpha Alliance 2 - Acquiring an Alpha

The fastest way into enemy territory? Fake a mate bond. I'm June, a direwolf fresh out of a lab cage who just let a honey-tongued alpha named Tex claim me as his weapon. He'll figure out soon enough that I only follow commands when they suit my mood. It's all fun and games until his teenage sister goes missing and the secret tug in my chest starts singing the same tune as her trail. Both lead across a territorial border, where the human who created me plans to turn Tex's sister into his next lab rat. The only way to break her out without starting a war is to hide Tex's scent beneath mine with a partial mate bond. Tex swears it'll be just like his last mating: convenient, temporary, strictly business. Strictly business lasts right up until we're sneaking behind enemy lines...and our bond starts doing far more than we'd planned. Acquiring an Alpha is the second book in the romantic urban fantasy Alpha Alliance series, featuring found family, fierce shifters, and a happily ever after in every book.
