How to Be a Bug - How to be a Bumblebee (in association with the Royal Entomological Society)

Follow a determined queen bee as she learns how to start her own colony, and visit the beautiful Arctic Circle and the resilient creatures that live there, in this graphic novel. When Queenie wakes from hibernation, she knows that she has a mission to complete: she’s on a quest to build a nest and raise a colony of her own, and all in time so that the little bees can snuggle down and hibernate through the winter. It’s a big job for a little bug, but Queenie knows she’s up to it! Narrated by a wise old grasshopper, offering tips on how to be a bumblebee, and featuring laugh-out-loud moments, this tale of life in the Arctic Circle is a perfect introduction to Arctic bees for bug-obsessed little ones. Made in collaboration with the Royal Entomological Society, facts are blended seamlessly into the action, while hilarious illustrations from Steven Wood will engage even the most reluctant reader.
