SeaWorld 2 - OverSea: The Salt Rule

Book Two of the SeaWorld Series The ocean is finally at peace. The sky never was. When Jr. Salt Kennedy tears the New Messiah out of the crushing depths and into the open air, he believes his war is over. The Salt Throne has a new King. The woman he loves is waiting for him in the dark waters below. And somewhere above the endless ocean ceiling, a world of sunlight is waiting to welcome him home. He should have known better than to believe in easy endings. What Salt finds when he breaks the surface is not the golden empire his mother once ruled. It is ash. It is silence. It is a graveyard stretching from horizon to horizon, choked with the dead, its cities reduced to smoking craters in a single, unimaginable hour. The world he was sent away to protect — the world his father died believing was safe — has been erased by something far older and far crueler than dark magic. A name. To understand the enemy who could unmake a continent, Salt must first confront the truth of who he really is — the son of a King who built an empire from nothing, and a mother whose secrets ran deeper than the sea itself. Their love story, born from a chance meeting on open water, forged the very magic that now runs through his veins. But love, in this world, has never come without a price. And the price paid for Salt's power was paid in blood — his mother's blood, spilled by a hand no one suspected, in a betrayal that would curse him to a life he never should have lived. Now, with his past finally laid bare, Salt must return to the world that cursed him, gather the only allies he has left, and face a threat that does not fight with armies or magic — but with absolute, unanswerable power. A hidden continent…
