Every Mistake A Forfeit

In Dickensian Britain, a popular parlour game called for players to sacrifice something of value each time they made an error, no matter how insignificant. Barely escaping from an oppressive school for wayward boys, teenagers Ben and Jem find themselves free and able to express themselves for the first time in their lives. As their bond and affection for each other deepens, their journey takes them to a dark and horrific place where their devotion to each other is tested to the very limit. A haunting tale of queer discovery, love, and sacrifice.
