Castle Freak

Every family has its secrets. Some are kept in chains. John Reilly travels to Italy after unexpectedly inheriting an ancient castle from a relative he never knew. For a family already struggling to hold itself together, the inheritance should have offered them a chance to escape the past. Instead, it brought them face to face with another nightmare. Something has been hidden deep beneath the castle for years. Starved, tortured and forgotten, it has survived in darkness, and now it is free. Directed by Stuart Gordon and starring Jeffrey Combs and Barbara Crampton, Castle Freak was a bleak and brutal gothic horror inspired by H.P. Lovecraft's The Outsider, and now Castle Freak: The Official Novelization brings the cult Full Moon classic to a new life, where its tragedy, violence and monstrous family secrets can crawl even further from the darkness.
