The Secret Science Behind Miracles

Max Freedom Long's The Secret Science Behind Miracles explores the hidden principles that he believed lay behind ancient spiritual practices and the phenomenon often described as miracles.Drawing upon his interpretation of traditional Hawaiian spiritual teachings, Long proposes that ancient wisdom preserved powerful knowledge about the workings of the human mind and the unseen forces that influence human experience. He presents a theory of three aspects of consciousness and describes how these elements interact in the process of prayer, healing, and spiritual development.Throughout the book, Long attempts to explain miraculous events not as supernatural violations of natural law but as the result of principles that are not yet widely understood. By examining spiritual traditions and personal experiences, he argues that these hidden laws can be studied and applied in everyday life.Written in clear and accessible language, The Secret Science Behind Miracles became an influential work within twentieth-century metaphysical and New Thought circles. It remains widely read by those interested in spiritual philosophy, consciousness, and the relationship between mind and reality.
