That's Coola, Tallulah!

"Cheryl Chase's debut picture book, That's Coola Tallulah, is a delightful tale of a girl and her BFF, a plush toy, who encourages less than good ideas, but it's all in good fun. Be prepared to enjoy Giulia Iacopini's beautiful illustrations and for multiple nightly readings!" -Dan Yaccarino - Internationally acclaimed author-illustrator of Bam, Bam, Bam, Unlovable, and creator of Nickelodean children's series Oswald "Cheryl Chase authentically captures the irresistible kid logic of child's play. Stella Bella and Tallulah are a charming dynamic duo." -Rachel Lipman, Writer/Producer "Rugrats" That's Coolah, Tallulah is a darling debut book from Cheryl Chase, a creative and masterful storyteller. With playful language and intelligent wit, she pulls the adult reader into the nostalgia of a favorite toy and all of the belief and imagination that brought them to life. I couldn't stop smiling. Child readers will love the adorable illustrations and seeing their own imaginations reflected in the friendship of Stella Bella and her best friend dolly, Tallulah. In a world as full of conflict and fear, as ours is, kids need a place that provides safety and permission to escape into and engage the world of play. Cheryl Chase makes this happen. It's the first in a much-anticipated series and I can't wait for readers to receive this story and all of the delight and life experience this duo has to offer. This is the kind of high-quality, emotion-driven story that I love to celebrate and spread into hearts and homes. -Marcy Pusey, TEDx Speaker, Award-Winning Children's Book Author, and Story Coach
