Blackthorn Hollow- Her Blood Moon Protector

I stayed in Blackthorn Hollow after The Calling chose me. I rescued a cat, kissed a werecat, and now the Blood Moon wants us both. By day, the Blood Moon Festival is all red lanterns, cat masks, and sugar-dusted lies. By night, Redwater Bend wakes, whispers my name, and pulls at the ribbon magic tying me to this town. My witch power is waking, the Blood Moon is rising, and the Redwater Wraith is crossing the wards beneath a crimson sky. He burns for me. Bleeds for me. He fights the thing beneath the water before it can steal my name. Then I learn Shadow-the black cat I rescued, carried, trusted, and let sleep outside my window-is Silas Veyne. My secret protector. Also a cursed blood-moon werecat who keeps warning me away while looking at me like I already belong to him. Somehow, against every sane instinct I have, I fall for him. If Silas claims me, could he break his curse, or will the rite take us both?
