Supinely Sublimely

Marion Michell's textlings are carefully crafted and tightly focussed chronicles. In this brilliant series of soliloquies on life and art, Michell reveals the highs and the lows of working as an artist and writer while dealing with M.E. and P.O.T.S. Piercing and full of gusto, at times savagely funny, they give glimpses of a life (and consequently many other people’s lives) bent out of shape by debilitating and little understood diseases. Most importantly, though, language is turned into adventure. Minute-work (when energy allows) - Michell's prose is lucid, luminous, and entertains, enthrals, informs. Her prose is lucid, luminous, and entertains, enthralls. This collection will resonate with fellow sufferers of M.E. and those who care about them.
