Sure Shot in Cobalt City - Homecoming

A mysterious case, a murdered friend, and something sinister behind it all. Sarah Castile, former superhero turned private investigator, is on the case! When her old friend Lillian invites Sarah to Cobalt City to work an unspecified case, Sarah and her girlfriend, Daisy Dean, fly across the country to Sarah's hometown. But when they arrive shortly after Lillian was murdered, Sarah finds herself with two cases to solve—her friend's murder and the original case, which only Lillian knew about. She must navigate antagonistic police, old money New England families, and her disapproving father to get to the bottom of why and how her friend was killed. Sure Shot in Cobalt City: Homecoming is a standalone sequel to Sure Shot in Las Capas: The Case of the Absent Star, which can be read with or without any knowledge of the previous book.
