Miro. Poesie et Lumiere

This book, along with the exhibition it accompanies, is divided chronologically and thematically, covering the last thirty years of Joan Miro's life in Majorca. The story of this master painter, who left his unmistakable mark on the European avant-garde art movements, is inextricably bound up with this island, that as his own words convey, represented poetry and light for him. It features over eighty works, including 50 surprisingly beautiful large-format oil paintings, as well as terracotta sculptures, bronzes and watercolours. Text in French.
