TRANSEND Before the Fall As the Man said, 'It's our job to ensure the END has a time-table ... Events must be controlled. We can't just bow down to the inevitable!' The clock is ticking. Preparations are complete. Mountain refuges have been prepared for those with sufficient funds. After the Fall --- There’s the CEO’s billionaires, and Politicians living extended lives under the Mountain, whose status has been reduced to that of mere numbers. There’s the Punk saboteur, and her orange fireball sidekick, causing mayhem under the Mountain. There’s the fattest girl in the world who one day will be queen. There’s No. 1 and No. 3 in lockdown in a safe room, wondering what’s going in the corridors beyond. There’s the phosphorescent dust thick in the air, which gets into everything, even miles underground. There’s the sclerotic eye which wanders the sky and beams down pestilence on the land below. There’s Bonaparte, only he’s black – in charge of the Consensus, who thinks he rules the world. There’s the war between the Consensus, and the Trans-human rebels, as an even more precipitous Fall, looms.
