A kaleidoscopic portrait of a family chronicles the individual lives of twice divorced Teresa Kerrigan and her four children, each influenced by their complex family history--Matt, caretaker to the father who had abandoned him; wild Karen, hiding in a marriage to a born-again salesman; Joe, an outsider coping with sibling rivalry; and Frankie, an eccentric sci-fi freak. A first novel. Reprint. 20,000 first printing.
