Psyche And Eros; An International Bimonthly Journal Of Psychoanalysis, Psychotherapeutics And Applied Psychology

This rare book contains a number of original articles written by Wilhelm Stekel, Charles Baudouin, Herbert Silberer and S. A. Tannenbaum. The essays include: "Analysis of a Case of Bird-Phobia", "The Affective Basis of Intelligence", "The Symbolism of Freemasonry", and "Bias in the Criticism of Psychoanalysis". Also included in this compendium are a number of reviews of Psychology books, including work by Stekel, Schroeder, and Knapp. This fascinating collection of texts is highly recommended for students of psychology, and would make for a worthy addition to collections of allied literature. Wilhelm Stekel was an Austrian psychologist famous for being one of Freud s earliest and most prodigious students. This scarce antiquarian book was originally published in 1922, and is republished here with a new introductory biography of the author.
