The Siege of Veyra - Last Stop: Deltaspire

The Way of the Open Gate has broken through Veyra’s lines. Now every cultist is pouring towards the Deltaspire Tram Depot. Corporal Horst Madison never wanted command. But orders have stopped coming through, and the depot’s batteries, the only thing keeping Veyra's trams running and thus the food, medicine, and people in the city moving, are now his to defend. He needs to rally the two mercenaries, a handful of inexperienced militia, and tram depot workers against the cult’s ruthless attacks. As the cult presses home their attack, they might not be just here for the batteries. They're here for what lies beyond them. Last Stop: Deltaspire is an 8,500-word military science fiction novelette set during the Siege of Veyra.
