Patrimoine Architectural En Devenir/Architectural Patrimonium In Wording/Architectural Heritage In The Making

The International Centre for the City, Architecture and Landscape wanted this publication to stress a public institution's role in actively managing a property ''portfolio'' that cannot be considered merely as a source of income but must be an active, if not essential, tool in delicately rebalancing a city's profile.A fresh collaboration with the CPAS has led to a work featuring Belgian and foreign authors' viewpoints on the urban and social intervention of an entity whose insight and knowledge of the field in all its facets helps establish the benchmark of real estate projects intended to improve lives and living together in a community. Aesthetics and sustainability are now an integral part of the planning and decision-making processes as well as of the analysis of real estate projects' evolution in the past 15 years.
