Donald J. Trump

Former President Donald Trump leaves nobody indifferent. Although no longer president, He keeps hitting the headlines daily on subjects he fancies. Shortly after the midterm elections in November 2022, he declared his candidacy to succeed President Joe Biden in 2024 without surprise. With fifty years of closely observing American politics behind him, Robert Vandemeulebroucke (pen name Ron Ziegler) in this book puts all of Trump's policies at home and abroad, from his inauguration to his inglorious exit, in context. With a trove of material, he offers a compelling narrative of President Trump's presidency. He also writes extensively on his foreign travels, the hosts he met, and the agendas he discussed. This book, the first written by a non-American author on the former president, offers comments on critical political events simultaneously happening in America, Europe, and elsewhere. Besides presenting an all-inclusive picture of President Trump's agenda at the White House, the book highlights the action or inaction taken by US political institutions. Finally, it describes the repercussions in Europe and the world on the consequences of Trump's controversial policies. Trump's predecessors often published memoirs after leaving the White House. The present book will fit the gap nicely while Donald Trump works on his manuscript.
