Think Big! Believe, Achieve, and Soar High

Is your child afraid to try something new even when they really want to? Perfect for SEL lessons at home, in the classroom, in counselling sessions, or for back-to-school inspiration, Maria's story follows a relatable first grader who faces more than just a new classroom, she faces her fear of doing something she's always wanted to try: the firepole. With the help of two inner voices, Mr. Big, who lifts her up, and Mr. Small, who holds her back, Maria must choose: stay safe on the sidelines or believe in herself and take the leap. This powerful growth mindset story helps kids see how their thoughts can lift their self-esteem and self-confidence or hold them back. With inclusive Type 1 diabetes representation and playful inner voices guiding the way, Think Big makes social-emotional learning simple, tangible, and fun whether at home, in the classroom, or in therapy. Ideal for fans of Bubble Gum Brain, Fantastic Elastic Brain, and Inside Out. Give your child a story that inspires brave thinking, emotional strength, and unstoppable confidence because mindset matters. With a decade of teaching experience, a degree in Math and Education, and a passion for growth mindset, Rashda is the heart behind Think Big.
