The Basque Mystical Tales 7 - Herensuge: The Seven Headed Dragon

Deep beneath the Pyrenees. Herensuge stirs for the first time in centuries. Each head dreams differently — storm, fire, earth, shadow, water, wind, and silence. The dragon senses Tartalo's death, Irati's sacrifice, Gaueko's retreat, and Sugaar's rebellion. The world is losing its anchors. Herensuge as a cosmic stabiliser, not a monster. The Warrior Priest A warrior priest, Aitor, arrives in the valley. He believes Herensuge's awakening is a sign of divine wrath. He carries relics forged using Sugaar‑inspired techniques and Basajaun‑derived knowledge. Aitor's mission: destroy the dragon before it destroys humanity. The First Awakening Herensuge emerges partially from the mountain. Only three heads awaken fully, causing earthquakes, storms, and strange atmospheric distortions. Villagers panic, believing the end times have come. Aitor rallies them, claiming he can slay the beast.
