Persian Poetry-The Orchard (Persian Poetry) Midi Lined Hardback Journal (Elastic Band Closure)

Inspired by the 17th-century binding that originally housed the Bustan, a seminal work by Persian author Saadi (1210–1291), this design beautifully mirrors the contents of the original volume.Saadi Shirazi, known by his pen name Saadi, was a poet and prose writer born in Shiraz, Iran. Saadi was nicknamed “The Master of Speech” among Persian scholars for the strength of his writing, which impacted not only Persian literature but Persian everyday language, too.The Bustan (known in English as The Orchard) is one of Saadi’s two best-known works. Written entirely in verse, the stories are rich in moral thought and principles. The intricate botanical patterns of this design reflect the fruits of Saadi’s wisdom.
