From touching scratchy hay to discovering vegetables growing in the garden, every stop provides another opportunity to learn, communicate, and explore.Created with young learners in mind, this warm and engaging story celebrates AAC communication, autism acceptance, sensory differences, family support, and the joy of learning together. This book is written by speech language pathologist Tricia Marley Robinson and includes speech therapy worksheets at the end of the book so children can practice the vocabulary words learned within the story. The book is perfect for ages 3-7, preschool and early elementary classrooms, speech therapy, special education settings, autistic children, AAC users, and families learning about different ways to communicate.A trip to the farm becomes more than an adventure-it becomes a wonderful day of communication, discovery, and family connection.
