Praying with the Bible Series 3 - Praying with the Latter Prophets

Prayer is one of those things. We know we should do it, and maybe we even want to. We see others do it, and maybe we do it ourselves. For some, it is a discipline or a habit, but for others, it is a struggle. But would any of us say we are great at it? Praying with the Latter Prophets continues where Praying with the Former Prophets left off. In this book, we go deeper into the Scriptures to grow in the wisdom God has shown us about prayer in the texts. Our study will look deeper into the context of the prayers and will explore the nuances of the original language more. Through these books, we gain a much more complex understanding of prayer. Praying with the Former Prophets left off with Kings, and Praying with the Latter Prophets picks up with Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and the Book of the Twelve. This book was written with the same purpose in mind. I invite you into a whole new level of God's word. I hope our passions to pursue the Living God are sparked to greater intensity. I trust we will continue to develop and reinforce habits. I expect we will continue to be inspired and gain a richer perspective. Praying with the Latter Prophets is the third installment of the Praying with the Bible Series. This series presents prayer in a way unlike anything else. Rather than leading readers in reiterating scripted prayers, this book explores how the Bible presents prayer, in both positive and negative perspectives. If you're searching for a comprehensive look at the way the Bible presents how to pray-and if you want to learn from the earliest followers of God how the practice of prayer is intended to be used-then you'll cherish Praying with the Latter Prophets as an indispensable resource.
