The Hamiltons 12 - Sherry and Sunflowers

Alara likes to live life on her own terms — traveling where the work takes her, raising Zia in their cozy camper, answering to no one. But being a free spirit doesn't pay for health insurance. So when a steady job came up in Oregon, she made herself say yes. It's not what she wants, but it's what she needs. She wasn't planning to stop in Napa for more than a wedding. And she definitely wasn't planning on Reaves. The spark between them caught her off guard, but it didn't matter. She had to keep moving. Until she couldn't. Now she's stranded — too sick to drive, her job offer gone, her camper parked at Charles's estate while Zia runs through the sunflowers and calls it a castle. Zia stole Reaves's heart before he ever met her mother. Now Alara's doing the same — and she doesn't even know it. But Reaves can wait. Alara needs a friend right now, not a guy with intentions. So he'll be her friend. He'll give her space. He'll watch her laugh with his dad and Zia sprinkle glitter on the old estate — and pretend he isn't already halfway gone. Some sparks, though, don't stay buried forever... The Hamiltons Series This series follows the Hamilton family in California wine country.
