The story of a race, and a life, that wasn't thought possible. A young man has the calling of the Catholic Church, but on his way to being a priest, another passion takes a hold of him. Not daunted by the challenges this dual vocation poses, Fr Leo believes the work of the Lord can be done through athletics. His desire to be an athlete, and a coach, and do justice to his calling to the church, takes him on an exciting journey from the depths of local club athletics to an association with the stars. Raising money for good causes becomes a habit, and when his good friend Patrick O'Malley tells him of the Orphanage at Granagh (that has a special resonance for Patrick personally) needing a new wing, they go on an amazing journey to raise the much needed money, try to break a long standing record, and create a seemingly impossible race, scheduled to take place in the backwaters of Ireland.
