The Rhythmic Realm of Reality

The Rhythmic Realm of Reality gathers verses drawn from National Master Chengguan's Commentary and Subcommentary on the Avataṃsaka Sūtra-reflections in which doctrine becomes song. These gāthās reveal the sound-texture of Huayan insight: where exposition turns luminous, and thought flows as cadence. Each verse is both mirror and gateway, opening into the interpenetrating vision that defines the Avataṃsaka Sūtra-a world where one thought contains infinite realms.Rendered into English with contemplative precision, this volume inaugurates the Avataṃsaka Translation Series: a multi-volume presentation of Chengguan's writings that unites scholarship and devotion, intellect and rhythm, in the service of awakening.
