The Hollow Choir

Set in Sable Hollow, The Hollow Choir is a haunting dark fantasy about sound, silence, and the cost of complicity. When Mara Kline returns to her rural hometown after her father's death, she finds a community bound by old rituals and hush year curfews. A mysterious entity known as the Husher has haunted the valley for generations, feeding on names and silence. With the help of determined teen June and weary Pastor Ruth, Mara uncovers the truth hidden in ledgers and spliced tapes: the town has been sacrificing children to keep the Husher quiet. As voices disappear and bells are padded to stifle resonance, Mara must decide whether to break the pact, ring an unpadded bell, and confront the hunger beneath the corn. Blending atmospheric horror with folk magic and small-town mystery, The Hollow Choir explores the power of sound, the danger of silence, and the courage it takes to speak your name when history insists you stay quiet.
