Cross-Stitching Beautiful Bees, Bugs, and Butterflies

Cross-Stitching Beautiful Bees, Bugs, and Butterflies celebrates the insects that bring gardens and ecosystems to life through more than 25 intricate cross-stitch designs — plus a complete bug alphabet that opens up 55 unique projects in all. Illustrator and designer Fiona Sinclair brings a naturalist's eye to every chart, from butterflies and bees to beetles, dragonflies, and other fascinating pollinators, each paired with delicate botanical elements and stitched with the kind of detail that invites a closer look. DMC color keys, alternative color suggestions, and step-by-step written and visual instructions make each design as achievable as it is beautiful. The bug alphabet lets stitchers add names, words, and phrases to any project for endless personalization. These are patterns worth lingering over. The finished pieces are frame-worthy, the nature photography throughout makes this a book as gorgeous to browse as it is to stitch from, and the variety of designs keeps stitchers coming back.
