Love VS War at Radio Kallisto

A lighthouse, a radio station, an insufferable neighbor… and one peculiar island. Recent college grad Lucy Mills’ life is a total disaster. She can’t land a job, she’s one missed rent payment away from eviction, and her bank account is on life support. Just as she’s about to throw in the towel, she receives a crazy job offer: spend the summer in Greece running a tiny radio station. Acting on pure desperation, she accepts—hoping to jumpstart a future after having every other door slammed in her face. And that’s how she ends up on the island of Kallisto, Greece: home to barely three hundred people, thousands of goats, and an endless supply of Greek food. As a makeshift radio host, Lucy expects a movie-worthy backdrop: serenity, sunsets, romance, and maybe a little bit of inspiration. Instead, she gets stuck with: A community of eccentric, rebellious islanders who are flat-out nuts; A stalker seagull that has it out for her; A grumpy, cynical neighbor who barely says a word… and loves flipping her the bird; Anonymous love letters; Passive-aggressive playlists. While trying to keep Kallisto’s ancient radio station on the air, Lucy will try to do the right thing—for herself and everyone else—while avoiding the inevitable: strangling her lighthouse neighbor (even though the temptation is real, daily, and incredibly strong). Because sometimes, getting on the same wavelength with someone is hard… but when it finally clicks, love broadcasts at full volume.
