Wired/Wireless Internet Communications

Welcome to the 3rd International Conference on Wired/Wireless Internet C- munications (WWIC). This year we received 117 submissions, which allowed us to organize an - citing program with excellent research results, but required more e?ort from the 54 members of the international Program Committee and the 51 additional reviewers. This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the Third International Conference on Wired/Wireless Internet Communications, WWIC 2005, held in Xanthi, Greece in May 2005.The 34 revised full papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 117 submissions. The papers are organized in topical sessions on mobility management, transport protocols and congestion control, QoC and routing, quality of service, wireless multi-hop networks and cellular networks, ad-hoc networks, IEEE 802.11 and other MAC protocols, and energy efficiency and resource optimization.
