The Boxer Gets Stripped and Spanked by Her Coach

I keep telling myself the ring is enough, but every correction from Nigel pulls me closer to the edge. His rules shape my days, his presence fills the empty spaces I never admit exist. I fight him in training just to feel the weight of his authority settle over me. The gym empties at dawn and still he stays, his hand finding the small of my back when I miss a step. I know what he wants, the discipline that goes beyond the bag and into the places no coach should touch. My body answers before my mind can refuse. He tells me to turn toward the wall now, his fingers already at the edge of my waistband. The air waits for his next word and I stand frozen, unsure if I will obey or finally break free.
