Claimed by the F1 Rookie

On Sunday, Odette Vaughn was fired in front of thirty cameras for a diffuser she never touched. On Monday, she was rehired by the only driver on the grid who has nothing to lose — a twenty-year-old rookie inherited from a defunct team, running on a sponsor's budget and a handshake. They have no garage. They have a trailer, a two-bedroom above a tyre shop, and a season of races where every point is another team's lost sponsorship. What Odette has, hidden in a file she shouldn't have copied, is the proof that the man who fired her is the one who should be running from the FIA. What Rafe has is the nerve to drive a broken car to the last lap. Together they have until the season finale at Monza.
