Rookie

Louis is the youngest candidate accepted into the police academy in more than ten years. At just nineteen, he's immediately marked as an outsider—too young, too inexperienced, and far too vulnerable in a world that thrives on pressure and power. Nicknamed Rookie, Louis becomes a target from day one Agents Heath Axton and Scott Wolf are relentless in their training methods, pushing him harder than anyone else, testing his limits, and forcing him to either break or rise. What begins as discipline slowly becomes something far more complicated—charged, unspoken, and impossible to ignore. But the academy is only the beginning. When Louis graduates and steps into the real world, the stakes escalate. The line between authority and desire blurs, past trauma resurfaces, and the life Louis has fought to build begins to fracture under the weight of expectation, danger, and truth. He's lost everything once before—and this time, the consequences could be permanent. Rookie is a dark, why-choose, crime thriller layered with vulnerability, tension, and a slow-burn M/M/M romance that challenges power, trust and survival. Content warnings apply. This book includes crime, violence, and mature themes.
