The Forty Year Old Rookie

What's worse than a has-been? A never-was. Peter Collins plays beer league ice hockey. He's overweight, over the hill, and the only thing crashing harder than his slapshot is his bank account. But when a strange twist of fate - and a few questionable decisions - land him a spot on an NHL roster, Peter sees his chance to earn some big money. The only problem? It's not entirely legit. Now he's skating a thin line between fantasy and fraud, trying to stay on the team. Because when you've waited your whole life for a shot at the big leagues... would you let the truth get in the way? A gripping story about regret, redemption, and how far someone will go to chase a dream.
