Echoes

Detective Benjamin Tugade is investigating a brutal murder in Manila when he discovers something unsettling: the killing bears similarities to a series of unsolved crimes known as the Correction Killings. Assigned to the case alongside his enthusiastic new partner, Allan Ramon, Benjamin follows a trail connecting powerful figures, a former soldier, and a pattern of violence that seems to be repeating itself—but never in quite the same way. As the investigation deepens, Benjamin encounters increasingly strange details and moments of familiarity that leave him questioning what he thought he understood. The evidence continues to point outward, toward a killer and a mystery that needs to be solved. But some mysteries do not belong to the dead. Echoes is a psychological mystery about memory, identity, and the ways the past can return—not as a perfect repetition, but as something altered, distorted, and impossible to ignore.
