Guild Series 1 - Inventrici

Three years after his life was shattered by the disappearance of his beloved companion, Telchide Inventore has a difficult decision to make. Aveline, a fellow inventor, has offered him the opportunity of a lifetime: join her on an expedition to Sentigura Caldera. She is in search of a plant rumoured to have a shocking power that, if harnessed safely, could revolutionise power sources for their city of Tor'Esint and break the stranglehold of the ruthless Mercantili Guild. Telchide could stay safe at home and lose himself in music boxes and pocket watches, scrabbling for the funds and time to create a new Great Work to advance him in the Guild and secure his family's future. Or he could risk not only orphaning his daughter on what could be a fool's errand, but also his heart - because Aveline is brilliant and brave, and Telchide can't help being drawn to her. Can their blossoming relationship withstand the dangers of the Caldera and the haunting memories of his lost companion?
