Three Beds

Three hospital beds. Three unconscious men. And one son standing at the edge of a truth he was never meant to uncover. When Zachery Walton is called to the hospital after a catastrophic accident, he expects to find only his father fighting for his life. Instead, he is confronted with something impossible-two other men, identical in age, bearing the same last name, brought in alongside him. Men his father once claimed were long dead.As doctors fight to keep the three men alive, a buried history begins to surface. Decades of silence, fractured childhoods, and a shared past that was violently erased come rushing back into the present. What began as a family emergency becomes a slow unraveling of lies passed down through generations-lies meant to protect, but ultimately built on fear.At the center of it all is a place few survived and even fewer spoke about. A place that shaped three boys into men who learned early that silence was the price of survival. Now, with time running out and memories awakening, the truth demands to be heard.Three Beds is a haunting, emotionally driven novel about family, trauma, and the long shadow of institutional cruelty. It is a story of what happens when survival requires forgetting-and what it costs when forgetting finally fails.
